EZOfficeInventory is an online asset tracking and inventory management application that is designed for businesses that have a large number of assets or internal inventory that needs to be tracked. Not well-suited for retail businesses or online merchants, EZOfficeInventory is scalable, with three plan levels available, making the product suitable for the smallest business to enterprise level operations. All plans offer a mobile app that is compatible with both iOS and Android smart phones and tablets.
New features added in EZOfficeInventory include the option for users to acknowledge receipt of an item, the addition of custom fields for purchase orders, work orders and carts, and an optimized reservation process that better tracks equipment movement. Best suited for businesses that check large numbers of assets in and out, EZOfficeInventory can be utilized in multiple locations, with users able to receive an alert when available stock becomes low. Users can also transfer stock between locations when necessary, and GPS technology can be utilized to track asset location at all times.
EZOfficeInventory offers basic inventory tracking, allowing users to track inventory from multiple warehouses. Users can enter Add Stock pricing, as well as pricing for when the item is removed, such as during a sale. Users can assign a default vendor to each stock item, and create a low stock total option which notifies management when stock gets low. Users can easily add inventory stock using the Request Stock option, and update the stock totals when an item is sold or transferred to another warehouse. Users can also choose to reserve stock if desired.
The mobile app allows users to track assets at any location, with the ability to classify all assets into groups and sub-groups if necessary. The app is also compatible with an external RFID reader that makes it easy to scan a large number of assets into EZOfficeInventory in seconds.
The product is much more robust when tracking assets, particularly for businesses that perform maintenance and services for their customers, with features such as service ticket creation, maintenance scheduling, work order capability, and service history tracking.
Users can also create professional grade labels in a variety for formats using the label designer which is included in the application with users able to process multiple bar codes on a single page.
EZOfficeInventory is optimally designed to track company assets rather than retail or online sales, so kitting, multiple pricing levels, manufacturing options or multiple valuation options are not available, though item bundling is available. The product does offer a tool for easy asset grouping, making it easy to check in and check out multiple assets simultaneously.
Inventory reports in EZOfficeInventory are limited to All Inventory, Line Items, Stock Summary, and Low Stock reports, though the product offers an excellent variety of asset reports including Check In/Out Events, Asset Audit, Retired Assets, and Available Assets. Users can also choose to create custom reports if desired, and reports can be scheduled in advance, with the report sent to recipients once completed. All EZOfficeInventory reports can be easily exported as a CSV file for customization or saved as a PDF.
EZOfficeInventory allows users to import and export both CSV and Microsoft Excel files as needed. The product also includes bulk asset import templates that allow users to import up to 1,000 assets at one time. EZOfficeInventory also integrates with third party applications such as Zendesk, Okta, Onelogin, Drop, and Centrify, but does not offer integration with point of sale applications or online shopping cart applications.
EZOfficeInventory offers excellent online help, including access to a variety of tutorials for system basics, items, and the mobile app. There is also a searchable knowledgebase that can be easily access from the product website, and users can download a PDF of the Getting Started manual or access demo videos on YouTube as well. Product support is available via email.
EZOfficeInventory offers three plans to choose from: A la Carte, which is designed for those that wish to create a custom plan, and starts at $806.22 per year; Unlimited Users, which starts at $1,620 per year, and Enterprise, with supports for unlimited users on a private cloud, with Enterprise level pricing available from the vendor. Users can also download a free, 15-day version of the application to try out prior to purchasing. All plans include the Inventory Management module, GPS, Mobile Apps, and Reports and Analytics.
